Truman paper.

“You don’t have a camera in my head.” The Truman Show depicts several interesting areas of the video production through cam angles, the philosophical meaning,   and the concept behind it.
The Truman show uses many interesting camera angles. All of the point of view cameras are very interesting. It makes you feel like you’re one of the actors in the movie. All the different views of what others see give you anew perspective of Seahaven. There are thousands of hidden cameras. One of the most unique ones was the mirror camera. Every morning he would talk to himself to get ready for the day and they got every second of it. The camera behind the dashboard of the car was another cool one. It’s a camera angle i think now one else would ever think of. All over the island there are hidden cameras. There isn’t an inch of the city that isn’t seen. The camera angles this movie uses are some of the best I’ve ever seen.
This movie surprisingly has a deep philosophical meaning behind it. We accept the reality of the world with which we are presented. This statement is very true. For all we know life could be one never ending dream. Or life could be a board game and we are all just pawns. The only things we know are the things around us.  There’s no more truth out there than there is in the world I created for you.  The same lies, the same deceit.  But in my world, you have nothing to fear. Even though everything around Truman is fake there is more fake things is the actual world that we live in. Truman has nothing to fear. Everything in his world is under control. This movie makes you think about life and think about the people around you.
The concept behind this movie is incredible.  The concept that from birth everything Truman knows is fake. Everyone, including his parents is actors, which is kind of sad considering he never had a true friend. Everything that happens in his life is decided by christof. For 30 years he had no clue what was going on. All his life he had no clue that everything   was fake and controlled. It would be amazing if someone could actually mastermind a show like this.
Camera angles, philosophical meaning and concept and all interesting areas of the Truman show. You can fill a city with cameras, but you can never tell what people have in their memories. Sit and think about what life is really about and if the people around you are genuine. When things are too good to be true things might not be true.

story-- final

September 11th 2001 America fell under attack and went to war. It has now been 9 years and we continue to fight. now that the combat troops are out of Iraq the new focus is on Afghanistan although it is said combat troops will start being pulled out by August 2012.

" i think we will be there in some capacity for a long time. with out continuing the training of local forced the country will fall back in control of terrorist cells." - Sergeant First Class Chris Blaurt.

"I think we went overseas for the wrong reason. We did not have enough sufficient evidence to start one of the longest wars in American history." - Gracia McCutcheon

Some of the civilians question if why we went to war was worth it.

"The fact that Iraq now has free elections make me think it was worth it in some way, however i believe that we caused more problems and hatred by going into both Iraq, and Afghanistan. If i were in charge since sept 11 2001, i would have never started this war "against terror" because quite frankly terror is not something you can fight. To fight terror is like fighting a shadow" - Gracia McCutcheon

But with the courage and will of new troops this war will get won in no time.

"hooah man I'll fight to the end no matter what. if all i have is a damn stick then I'm going haji hunting with a stick. i want to fight for my country. fight for our freedom. fight  to protect our country. fight to defend the people. I'm really not scared of going. if i die in Afghanistan it will be for a good cause. at least i was fighting to survive what happens happens man. stay alert stay alive." - Private First Class Nick Lane

when it comes down to it, no one can really tell how long it will takes or how it will turn out.  Lets just let our brave troops finish the battle victoriously. After all... its the american way.

script

sfc blaurt--  how long do you think this war will go on for? i think we will be there in some capacity for a long time. we will probably have troops there for a long time. with out continuing the training of local forced the country will fall back in control of terrorist cells. this is just my opinion, not the army's or anything.

pfc nick lane--  are you willing to fight this war till the end? hooah man I'll fight to the end no matter what. if all i have is a damn stick then I'm going haji hunting with a stick.
what makes you want to go fight? i want to fight for my country. fight for our freedom. fight  to protect our country. fight to defend the people.
are you scared of what might happen? I'm really not scared of going. if i die in Afghanistan it will be for a good cause. at least i was fighting to survive what happens happens man. stay alert stay alive.

gracia--  should we be over there? I think we went overseas for the wrong reason. We did not have enough sufficient evidence to start one of the longest wars in American history. I also do not agree with Obama's decision to send more troops into Afghanistan, considering one of the main things he argued for in his campaign was to pull troops from overseas. I feel like we have created more hatred and terrorism towards the United States by starting this war over "weapons of mass destruction" that were never even found.
do you think this was is worth it? The fact that Iraq now has free elections make me think it was worth it in some way, however i believe that we caused more problems and hatred by going into both Iraq, and Afghanistan.
if you were in charge what would you do? It is hard to just pull out of a war that has already started. If i were in charge since sept 11 2001, i would have never started this war "against terror" because quite frankly terror is not something you can fight. I believe there was not enough evidence to start a war, and that what we are trying to fight is virtually impossible to overcome. To fight terror is like fighting a shadow- you do not know if you are shooting at an innocent civilian or someone involved with al queda. I think there are plenty of other ways we could have gone about making peace with the middle east.
